Our bodies endure so much on a daily basis! It's no wonder we have aches and pains. Even so, this doesn't have to prevent you from achieving your goals! As a physical therapy clinician, I find it vital to listen to your body and adjust your fitness and nutrition plans accordingly. Please always make sure you are cleared by a physician and/or physical therapist before engaging in any new program.

Instrument-Assisted
Soft Tissue Mobilization Tools
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a therapeutic intervention used to produce many of the same results as cupping: decrease pain, control inflammation, increase circulation, aid in cell repair, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall tissue function. It is more commonly used in clinical atmospheres, but is becoming more popular in the athletic and fitness worlds. I have used my tools on patients, clients, family, friends, and yes - myself (even when pregant). Again, it's important to be educated on utilizing IASTM (or like) tools in your health and fitness routine. Please reach out and we can figure out if any of the tools are beneficial for you!
